ABCBSince 2002 A.R.T. has hosted and organized many varied visual art programs plus juried shows, for our members and the public around the city of Rowlett, the Lake Ray Hubbard area and Dallas County.

ABCWhether you're a person who loves art, and being around creative people, or you would like to get creative yourself, with a great assorted of visual art media, then joining Artists 'Round Texas can give you many benefits and choices;

1) Interact, make new friends, and meet other creative people on a continuing basis.
2) Learn new ways to create art, or if you’re a first time dabbler, gain confidence in pursuing your creative side and trying new media.
3) Show and sell your art at the different art venues arranged by A.R.T. In addition to A.R.T. juried shows, venues in our city allow artists to show with no entry fee.
4) Learn about new media and how to use old media in new ways with live demonstrations by professional artists. You will learn about new sources for your art materials and increase your exposure.

Want to show and sell your creations?

ABCA.R.T. hosts two juried shows a year. Juried by professional visual artists, they offer cash awards, purchase awards and various media opportunities;

Paint & Photograph Rowlett is in the spring. Your art subject is a choice of six or more locations in Rowlett, and allowed two weeks to complete your piece for take-in. Are you ready for a fun, artistic challenge?
The Small Works Show in fall has five categories: 2D, 3D, Photography (including digital), Black & White and Adornment (jewelry, dyed clothing and other wearable art).
Display your art in various businesses and city locations for greater public exposure of your art. There is no entry fee for entering some venues. New locations are being secured each year.

Want to encourage young artists?

BCTWhether jurying local student art, or gathering art supplies to help elementary students explore various visual art materials, our organization is proud of how our members have work together to encourage young artists in our local schools.

ABCABBecause our membership levels have many different membership categories and rates, our Family Membership allows you and your children to enjoy our family friendly art venues, programs, and field trips.

Would you like to join our creative group?

ABCWe welcome you to attend our monthly programs (usually the 3rd Sunday of the month, 2pm, Rowlett Community Centre, 5300 Main St., Rowlett, TX 75088 ), or you can also join us on our field trips and enter our juried shows. Our organization is great at encouraging members to keep their brain in their child mode to help develop the media they would use to create.
